Two drivers arrested for DUI and hitting power poles

Two dri­vers were arrested on sus­pi­cion of DUI Sat­ur­day after both hit power poles in col­li­sions that occurred within 20 min­utes of each other. The first occurred on May 3rd just south of Lake Men­do­cino Drive when 18 year old Jose Felix of Ukiah, was headed north­bound on North State Street and his red GMC pick-up truck struck a power pole, dam­ag­ing power lines and nearby traf­fic sig­nals. Felix was arrested on sus­pi­cion of DUI and booked into Men­do­cino County Jail. About 15 min­utes later, another acci­dent involv­ing a vehi­cle and a power pole occurred on Old River Road.
Accord­ing to the Cal­i­for­nia High­way Patrol, that inci­dent occurred when 29 year old Olivia Reboca, of Hop­land, was head­ing north on Old River Road when her black Chevro­let Impala hit a power pole in the 4500 block. A female pas­sen­ger suf­fered a minor leg injury, and Reboca was arrested on sus­pi­cion of DUI and caus­ing injury, dri­ving with a sus­pended license for DUI and for vio­lat­ing her pro­ba­tion. She was booked into Men­do­cino County Jail under $55,000 bail.
