Graduation Ceremonies at Mendocino College

Grad­u­a­tion cer­e­monies will not be held at Ukiah High School in June because of con­struc­tion of the new track there. Con­struc­tion work on an all-weather track got under way this month and admin­is­tra­tors have deter­mined that because of the exca­vat­ing involved, grad­u­a­tion should be held else­where. In a press release, Ukiah Uni­fied School Dis­trict they’ve accepted an offer from Men­do­cino Col­lege to host the cer­e­monies. The col­lege has even agreed to waive the school’s fees for use of their facil­i­ties. The UHS grad­u­a­tion is sched­uled for Sat­ur­day, June 7, at 9 a.m. at Men­do­cino Col­lege. The pro­mo­tion cer­e­mony for Pomolita Mid­dle School will be on Thurs­day, June 5, at 6 p.m. at the col­lege. The pro­mo­tion cer­e­mony for Eagle Peak Mid­dle School will be held Thurs­day, June 5, at 6 p.m. at Eagle Peak.
