Man Sentenced for 2000 Murder

It took a long time for justice to be served, but it was on Friday in Mendocino County Superior Court. Jared Hernandez, who beat his neighbor to death with a baseball bat and fled to Mexico more than 13 years ago was sentended to 32 years to life in prison for his crime. Hernandez was arrested in Mexico and sent back to the U.S. last year to face charges in the arson and death of Michael Williamson. The crime happened back in the year 2000.
